My favorite festival has arrived. I love the Food & Wine Festival in Epcot. It is our tradition to come every year since there are always new stands and new foods. This year the festival is longer and runs from Aug 31st to November 13th 2017.
This year, there are 35 food stands including 5 new ones (Flavors from Fire, Coastal Eats, Light Lab, Active Eats and the Almond Orchard).
Orlando can become extremely hot and humid during the summer. A pool day is always a great idea. Some friends called us on a hot Sunday morning to ask if we wanted to spend the day with them at the pool. They had called the Ritz Carlton and made a reservation to rent a cabana for the day.
Without hesitation we packed our swimsuits and head out to the Ritz Carlton. We probably packed too fast because Kevin (my other half) forgot his swim shorts. Too bad when you are planning a pool day.
Today, I had the pleasure to be part of a press conference that SeaWorld was holding to announce the new attractions coming soon.
Forget about everything you think you know about Downtown Disney, especially if your last visit was more than 2 years ago. Downtown Disney is gone! It went under a massive expansion and transformation. Now it is called Disney Springs, and it is amazing!
Downtown Disney was first created in the mid 70’s and was called Lake Buena Vista Shopping Village, which was later, renamed Disney Village Marketplace.
In the late 1980’s, Disney added Pleasure Island. In the mid 90’s, Downtown Disney West Side was created with more entertainment places like House of Blues and Planet Hollywood.
